Obituary of Lois Eleanor Whittey

The death of Lois Eleanor (Jones)(Verner) Whittey of Saint John, NB occurred on Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Joseph Alfred and Lois (Wilson) Jones. Survived by two sons, Donald (Nancy) Verner of Saint John and Thomas (Iris) Verner of Hampton, NB; four daughters, Shirley (Gregory) Grace, Penny (David) Bragg, Donna (Garth) McGee, all of Saint John and Heather (Joe) Benjamin of Cassidy Lake, NB; two brothers, Carl (Marjorie) Jones of Saint John and Kenneth Jones of Vancouver, BC; eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Malcolm Jones. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday, June 7, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 11:00 am from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
