Obituary of Muriel Ella Thompson
The death of Muriel Thompson of Carleton Kirk Lodge occurred at her residence on April 29th, 2005. She was the wife of the late Hazen F. Thompson of Chance Harbour, NB and a daughter of the late T. Alfred and Alma I. (Thorne) Buckle. Muriel was a graduate of Saint John High School and Modern Business College. She worked in offices all around the city, and also at Manchester Robertson Allison Ltd. Muriel is survived by two sons, David H. (Mary) Thompson and Steven Thompson both of Chance Harbour, NB; one sister Verna Thompson of Saint John, NB; two grandchildren, Catherine Thompson of Saint John, NB and Amy (Mark) Nolan of England; three great grandchildren Hope, Josiah, and Tobias Nolan of England; one niece Barbara Thompson of Fredricton, NB. Besides her husband and parents Muriel is predeceased by one sister Mabel Lawton. Arrangements are under the professional care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). At Muriel's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside committal service will be held in Maces Bay Cemetery on Monday May 2nd, 2005 at 2 pm. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
