Obituary of George Hartley Kimball
KIMBALL, George Hartley ? The death of George Hartley Kimball, husband of the late Ella May “Nell” (Quann) Kimball, of Saint John, NB occurred on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born on March 12, 1912 in Saint John, son of the late George H. and Kathryn M. (Reed) Kimball, he grew up in Tracy, NB and later was employed for a number of years at McAvity's and then with J.D. Irving Heavy Equipment prior to his retirement. Until recently George was an active member of Park Avenue United Church and the L.O.L. Courtenay Bay #8. Survived by sisters-in-law, Helen (Quann) Walsh, Carrie (Quann) Morton, both of Leduc, Alberta and Rubena (Ross) Quann of Miramichi, NB; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great great-nieces and great great-nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 2:15 pm. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to Park Avenue United Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor's choice.
