Obituary of Roger J. LeBlanc
The death of Roger J. LeBlanc of Visart Street, Saint John, NB occurred on Friday, May 14, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Roger was born in Saint John on March 23, 1947, son of Hector and Madeleine (Poirier) LeBlanc and was a lifelong resident of this city. Roger was employed with Canada Post from 1968 until his retirement in 2002. He was a member of St. Peter's Parish. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Christine (Sean) Mabey of Maces Bay, NB; sons, Roger (Tammy) and William “Billy”, both of Saint John; two brothers, Raymond (Debbie) and Michael LeBlanc, both of Saint John; five sisters, Martha (Harold) Peddle, Linda (Jim) Eagles and Shirley (Pat) Shannon, all of Saint John, and Diane (Blair) Skeldon of Grand Bay-Westfield and Lucia (George) Chaisson of New Brunswick; five grandchildren, Jaylynn, Cassie, Emma, Brandon and Justin; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Cormier. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Clarendon Street on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors' choice.
