Obituary of Frederick E. White
The death of Frederick E. White, formerly of 188 Anglin Drive, Saint John, husband of the late Bessie A. (Kennie) White, occurred on Sunday, June 6, 2004, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Herbert Allan and Lillian Idora (Thorne) White. Mr. White was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1943-1946 as a Leading Air Craftsman. He was a Mechanic by trade and owned and operated Station Street Garage for many years, with his deceased partner, Murray Cameron. Fred was a member of Calvary Temple. He is survived by two daughters, Doreen Wood (David) of Moncton and Colleen Goguen (David) of Saint John, one sister, Pearl Johnston of Public Landing, one grandchild, Sherry Josey (Michael) of Dartmouth, NS, two great grandchildren, Vanessa and Thomas, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Lillian Miller. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer's Society of Saint John or the charity of the donors' choice.
