Obituary of Julia Theresa Douthwright
The death of Julia Theresa Douthwright, of 73 Boyaner Crescent, Saint John, wife of Russell Douthwright, occurred on Monday, May 31, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Back Bay, NB on April 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Rose (Leavitt) Hanley. Julia was a member of the Renewed Hope Church of God on the Loch Lomond Road. She will be remembered for her love of family, her quick wit and her love of laughter. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Joel Douthwright at home, one daughter, April Douthwright of Saint John, two brothers, Tim Hanley (Bev) and Dana Hanley (Cindy), both of Back Bay, and grand daughter, Karissa, who was the light of her life, several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. George Rural Cemetery. Remembrances to the A.L.S. Society would be appreciated.
