Obituary of Mary M. MacDonald
MacDonald, Mary M. ? The death of Mary Madeline (Dempster) MacDonald of Loch Lomond Villa and formerly of Glen Road, wife of the late Alexander MacDonald, occurred on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Belleisle Creek, NB, she was a daughter of the late James and Charlotte (Crawford) Dempster. Mary was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly for most of her life. She is survived by three sons: David (Margaret) of Edmonton, Alberta, Rev. Kenneth (Annette) of Saint John and Paul (Tamara) of St. Albert, Alberta; two daughters: Eileen (Denzel) Buckaway of St. Albert, Alberta and Marjorie (Harry) MacPherson of Saint John; one daughter-in-love, Peggy; one brother Donald Dempster of Saint John; one sister-in-law, Dorothy; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by four brothers: Ernest, William, Clifford and Henry, and three sisters: Violet Reid, Lillian Kincade and Margaret Gray. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:15 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
