Obituary of George Pearson Brewing
The death of George Pearson Brewing, 71, of 115 Metcalf Street, Saint John, NB, occurred peacefully on June 2, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sussex on January 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Bessie Kirk and Oscar Pearson Campbell. George was predeceased by his wife Stella (Sheehan) Brewing. He was employed with Bathurst Consolidated on the Dever Road until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the CNIB and enjoyed his guitar and singing. He was a member of the Ham Radio Association for a good many years under the title VE1-ARV were he made and continued to enjoy several great friendships. He is survived by his daughters Roseanne (Frank), Wendy (Ivan), his sons Peter (Kerry), Rick (Kim), and George Jr., his sisters Eileen Mitchell and Heather Scott, his long-time companion Patsy Miner and special daughters Krystal and Amie, his 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visiting, following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the family will gather for a private funeral service followed by interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to Hospice Saint John or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
