Obituary of Peter Evan McIntyre
The sudden death of Peter E. McIntyre of Port au Port, NL, formally of Saint John, husband of Audrey Mae (Collins) McIntyre, occurred on Wednesday May 5, 2004 in Kingsville, NS. He was born in Greenwood, NS, son of Byard and Marguerite McIntyre of Saint John. Peter was the co-owner/operator of Bill's, Casino, and Valley Taxi Service from 1982-2002, and was the president of the Taxi Association for many years. While in the taxi business, he delivered Danka, Schooner Industrial, Blood Service Centre, and Purolator Courier. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching wrestling, and gardening with Audrey. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Scott McIntyre of Nova Scotia and Glen Wilson (Jenn) of Saint John, two daughters, Vicky Ferris (Russell) of Oromocto, NB and Sherri Ann Bungay (Bernard) of Port au Port, NL, one brother, David (Peggy) of Saint John, one sister, Julie of Saint John, six grandchildren, Craig, Shane, Gary, Serge, Kyle and Kelsey May, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Clayton Wilson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM, followed by cremation. Remembrances to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
