Obituary of Isobel Z. Taylor

The death of Isobel Z. (Myles)(Curry) Taylor, occurred on Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Rocmaura Foundation Inc. Born in Wyers Brook, NB, she was a daughter of the late Porter and Isobel (Lyons) Myles. Isobel owned and operated the Sunshine Kindergarten on Lansdowne Ave. in the North End for a number of years; she was active in a number of United Baptist Churches in the city and worked with the mentally handicapped children and young adults. She is survived by one daughter Lorraine (Rev.Dr. Byron) Fenwick of Kentville, NS; three grandchildren, Kim (Leo Berk) Fenwick, Angie (Clifford) Fenwick Gibb, John W. (Jennifer) Warnock; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Charles Curry; her second husband, Ernest Taylor; one son, John C.R. Curry; nine brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2004 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:15 pm. Interment will be held in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Acadia Divinity College, Wolfville, NS, B4P 2R6 or a charity of the donor's choice.
