Helen actively attended Park Avenue United Church and was a member of the Fireside Unit of the U.C.W. as well as the Ladies Orange Lodge. Helen loved her family, her church, music and family gatherings and was always ready for a good game of cards. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother leading through her faith and love. Helen was a special friend to many and wintered in Florida for the past 17 years where she made many more friendships. She found great joy and comfort in being surrounded by family, especially children, and was very proud of their accomplishments. She will be dearly missed. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm, from Park Avenue United Church. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
