Obituary of Ronald David Currie
The death of Ronald David “Sunny” Currie, formerly of 81 Summer Street, Saint John, occurred on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Kennebec Manor Nursing Home. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Ronald William and Bernice (Taylor) Currie. Mr. Currie was employed with C. N. Express for many years before his retirement. He is survived Wilma Currie of Cambridge Narrows, NB; by four sons, David, James, John and Rorri, four daughters, Judi (Phillips), Catherine (Smith), Heather (Middleton) and Krista, two brothers, Stirling “Reg” of Moncton and Norman of Orillia, ON, three sisters, Myrtle Snare of Saint John, Lillian Cable of Toronto, ON and Lois Currie of Quispamsis, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Robert. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
