Obituary of Christie Joseph Hachey

The death of Mr. Christie Joseph Hachey occurred on July 14, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Martins, NB, he was the son of the late Christin and Marie (Smith) Hachee. He was employed in lumbering, with the Fertilizer Plant and retired in 1996 from Strescon Ltd. He was a member of St. Pius X Church and he enjoyed playing cards and traveling around in his car. He is survived by his special friend and sister-in-law Josephine Hachey, his step children-nieces and nephew John Hachey (Sandra), Adeline Hovey (Gary), Marcella Illman (Terry), his eleven brothers, three sisters, his five grandchildren Jacqueline, John, Jolene, Katrina and Sabrina, and several other nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from St. Pius X Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
