Obituary of Margaret L. Kaye
The death of Margaret Lottie (Marr) Kaye, of Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home, wife of the late Horace Kaye, occurred on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late George and Ethel (Stafford) Marr. Margaret was employed at the Riviera Restaurant for 19 years. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church, Carleton Community Club, the Golden Heart Club and Branch # 69 Royal Canadian Legion Seniors Club. She is survived by two daughters: Shirley Richards and Dorothy (Donald) Burnett both of Saint John West; one sister, Hazel Mc Knight of Hampton, seventeen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, six great - great grandchildren, several uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by two sons: George and Horace, two daughters: Joan Barker and Betty Marr, granddaughter Michele Porter and grandson Peter Barker, four brothers: Bill, Pat, George and Don, sister, Dorothy. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) visiting on Monday, December 27, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
