Obituary of Edith Margaret Daley
The death of Jean Daley, wife of the late Vernon S. Daley, occurred on May 4, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Edith (Stewart) Fawcett. She was a life-long member of St. Georges Anglican Church. She was musical and enjoyed playing the organ and singing. She is survived by her sons Brian Daley of Saint John, and Paul Daley of Amherst, NS, her daughter Christine and her husband Joseph Risk of Quispamsis, her sister-in-law Gladys Fawcett, her grandchildren Jolene Johnson and Samantha Risk and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 11:00 am, from St. Georges Anglican Church. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Old Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
