Obituary of Arthur Edward Doucette
The death of Arthur Edward Doucette, husband of the late Lillian Mae (Sheehan) Doucette, occurred on July 23, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Ernest and Margaret (Munroe) Doucette. He was employed with various companies as a machine operator before his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and was an avid Bingo player. He is survived by his sons Robert of the USA, Paul (Cathy) and Ernest, his daughters Katherine (Larry Kincaid), Dawn Doucette, Pauline (Kenny Farren), Debra (Bill), Terry (Howard Cullens), Beth (Randy Mulhern), all of Saint John, his brother Beverly (Mary), his sisters Mary Alliston, Lena Sheehan, Rose Matson, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. His son Arthur, granddaughters Kaitlyn Doucette and Paula Bastian, brother William and sisters Shirley Lowe and Kay Talbot predeceased him. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at 11:00 am, from Brenans Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
