Obituary of Marion Doreen Stafford
The death of Marion Doreen Stafford, wife of David P. Stafford of New River Beach, NB, occurred on Wednesday, December 01, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 61. Born in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of Eileen (Laird) Sullivan and the late Gordon Sinnott. Marion enjoyed bowling, camping and golfing. Survived by husband, David; mother, Eileen; two step-sons, Christopher (Cathy) Stafford of Bloomfield, NB and Robert Stafford of Saint John; two daughters, Diane (Stan) Perreault and Pam (Brian) Saybel, both of Edmonton, AB; three brothers, Kenneth (Leeanne) Sullivan of Calgary, AB, David and Ronald Sullivan, both of Edmonton; one sister, Carol (Norman) LeBlanc of Wells, NB; three grandchildren, Jesse Thomas, Taylor Thomas and Nicholas Saybel; several nieces and nephews; special aunt, Ruth Thompson, as well as other aunts. Predeceased by her father, Gordon Sinnott, step-father Kenneth Sullivan and her daughter Wendy. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter's Church, 50 Clarendon Street, Saint John on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
