Obituary of Bertha Dorothy Nolan

The death of Bertha D. (Farrell, Henwood) Nolan of 301 Heatherway, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Roy W. Nolan and Ronald Henwood occurred Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her sons and daughter-in-laws. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Keleher) Farrell. Bertha was a member of Park Avenue United Church and a member of Regency Towers Social Club. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Henwood (Judy), Saint John, NB, William Henwood (Theresa), Halifax, NS, one daughter Myra Parlee (Frank) Kitimat, BC, special daughter-in-law Karen Henwood, five grandchildren, Marc and Chris Henwood, Joanne Petite, David Henwood and Jason Parlee, one great grandson Nathan Petite, one sister Elsie Perry Saint John, NB, several nieces and nephews. Bertha is predeceased by one daughter Heather Henwood, sisters Alice Laskey, Florence (Lickie) Arsenault , Glenda Campbell, Helen Walsh and Lillian Gerrior. Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) in charge of arrangements. At Bertha's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bertha her family would appreciate donations to the Children's Wish Foundation.
