Obituary of Albert L. Richardson
The death of Albert Leatherbarrow Richardson occurred on Sunday, February 8, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Norton, NB, he was the husband of Doris (Foster) Richardson. Albert was fortunate enough to work at something he loved, landscaping. He worked all of his life in the Saint John area, retiring from the Port of Saint John in 1976. He is survived by his son, Lindsay, and wife, Deborah (Comeau) Richardson and granddaughter Angela Richardson of Fredericton, NB, his brother, Lloyd Richardson of Saint John, his sisters; Esterlla English of Hampton, NB and Mildred Butler of Saint John, NB. Albert is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Heber and Ethel (Sherwood) Richardson, his brothers; Edward and Frederick Richardson, his sisters; Gertrude Allen and Edna Andrew. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral will be held in Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 2:15 PM, interment will take place in the spring in Riverbank Cemetery, Norton, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donors choice.
