Obituary of Daniel Robert McEwen

The death of Daniel R. McEwen of Saint John, NB, occurred on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Kenneth L. McEwen and Geraldine (Eagles) McEwen. Daniel was trained as a chef, liked music and especially enjoyed singing. Survived by his mother; brother, Paul (Marion) of Nova Scotia; sister, Mary-Ellen McEwen of New Zealand; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and one brother, Michael. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday, September 1 & 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose of Lima Church, 541 Milford Rd., Saint John West, on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
