Obituary of Marguerite Frances Smith
Marguerite Frances Smith, of 506 Ellerdale Street, Saint John, wife of the late Frank Smith, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter Linda, on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helena (Patchell) Anderson. Mrs. Smith was formerly employed at F.W. Woolworth for several years and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Almon (David) of Saint John, Debra Bannister (Norman Hirtle) of Halifax, NS and Bonnie Chandler (James) of Mispec, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one cousin, Walter Patchell of Saint John. She was predeceased by her infant son, William Smith and one daughter Marion Amero (Lewis). Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 2:15 PM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Children's Wish Foundation, any Saint John Food Bank or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
