Obituary of Elizabeth Genevieve Raynard
Raynard: Elizabeth, Genevieve The death of 88 year old Elizabeth G. (Bessie) Raynard, wife of the late Victor J. Raynard occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 16, 2004, after of period of failing health. At the time of her death Bessie was a resident of Meadowbank Manor. Born in Yarmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Agnes (Titus) Huskins. Bessie was a member of Central Baptist Church, Saint John, NB . Elizabeth is survived by one son Norman Raynard (Chris ), Moncton, NB, one daughter Agnes Rushton (Joseph), Appleriver, NS, six grandchildren, Cheryl Stuart, Norman and Shane Raynard, Cathy Perry, Curtis Stackhouse and Joseph Rushton Jr., eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Forsythe, Saint John, NB, two brothers, Ernest Huskins, Toronto, Ont., Vernon Huskins, (Grace) Saint John, NB. Bessie is predeceased by one sister Hazel Nickerson and two brothers, Irvine and Ronald Huskins. Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506-634-7424) in charge of arrangements. At Elizabeth's request there was no visitation and a private family burial service was held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 19, 2004, with Rev. John Martin officiating. Pallbearers were, Vernon Huskins, Hugh Perry, Shane Raynard and Norman Raynard. In lieu of flowers donations in Bessie's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Elizabeth's family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of 4 C North and Dr. Quinn, as well as Joyce McGee and Staff of Meadowbank Manor for their compassionate care.
