Obituary of Patricia R. Turner
The death of Patricia (Pat) Ruth Turner, formerly of Brunswick Drive, Saint John, NB, occurred on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Fundy Health Centre, Black's Harbour, NB. Born in Haverhill, Mass., USA, she was the daughter of the late Harley Murray and Phoebe Ida (Hackett) Beatty. Pat was a former member of St. Andrew & St. David United Church and also a choir member of the church. She had been an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Portland Branch #64 and a member of the Senior Citizens' Group over the Market. Pat had also been a member of the Allison Group of A.A. She is survived by a son, John A. Masson (Susan) of Scarborough, ON, three daughters, Charlene A. Somers, St. Stephen, NB, Marsha Frederick (Arthur) of Mariaville, ME, and Ruth Moore of Garnett Settlement, NB; eleven grandchildren, Ruth Ann Vienneau (Joel), Cindy, Nicole, Ricky, Ronald, Ryan, Scott, Kim, Karla, Kellie and Marisa, four great-grandchildren, Bianca, Riley, Reese and Mackenzie; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, David Murray Alexander Masson and great-granddaughter, Dominique Ann Sparks. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Legion tribute to a member will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday. Interment will take place in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to St. Andrew & St. David United Church, Romero House or R.C.L. Branch #64.
