Obituary of Alice Margaret Andrews

The death of Alice M. “Sally” Andrews of Spruce Grove, Alberta formerly of Saint John, NB, passed away at the age of 81 years, July 6, 2004. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Brown) Gray. “Sally” worked for many years at Ridgewood Veteran's Hospital and the Workers Compensation Hospital. She was a past member of the White Cross, Legion Ladies Auxiliary and numerous bowling leagues including Fundy, Bowlarama and Bowlmore. “Sally” is survived by her daughter Lorraine Andrews of Spruce Grove Alta, four grandchildren, Cathy Rendek (Roger), David Phillips (Deana), Lori Ann Phillips (Gordon) and Carrie Bevan (Michael), nine great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ryan, Brittany, David, Daniel, Amanda, Tisa, Darcy and Sara as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald E. Andrews and one brother Bert Gray. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visiting will be held on Saturday, 2-4, 7-9 PM, and Sunday 2-4 PM, with funeral on Monday, July 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Interment to follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations in memory of “Sally” can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
