Obituary of Christian Joseph Thibodeau
The death of Christian (Chris) Thibodeau, husband of 55 years to Dianne (Despres) Thibodeau, occurred at the Saint Regional Hospital, June 21, 2004, surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Anne de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Albeni and Alice (Richard) Thibodeau. Chris was a long time employee of Ocean Steel, he loved fishing and woodworking. His sense of humor, infectious smile, headstrong attitude and love of family will be greatly missed by all. Chris is survived by two sons, Gordon (Linda) Mass., USA, Gary (Cathy), Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, three daughters Nancy Elder (Bruce), and Johanna Thibodeau (Willie Cyr), Saint John, NB, Karen Thibodeau, Toronto, Ont., two brothers Leo (Dora), Rogersville, NB, Leondre (Erenestine), Saint John, NB, one sister Theresa Cain (James), Saint John, NB, eight grandchildren, one step great grandson , several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by four brothers Joseph, Jerome, Alonzo and Alban, two sisters Linda and Rita Richard. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Visiting will be held on Tuesday, 7-9 and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St Ann's Church on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 11:00 AM, interment to follow in St Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances for Chris can be made to Canadian Paraplegic Association.
