Obituary of Robert F. Brown
Passed away peacefully, Robert Frank (Bob) Brown of Saint John, husband of Alice (Woodley) Brown, occurred on Friday, May 6, 2005 at Ridgewood Veteran's Wing. Born in Middlesex, England he was a son of the late Francis and Florence (Clemo) Brown. Bob had served in World War II, with the 18th Squadron as a corporal with the R.A.F. He was a member of the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association as a spotter. He was employed with Olivetti as a service manager for thirty years until his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons: Richard (Jocelyne) Brown of Moncton, Rodney (Krista) Brown of Saint John; two daughters: Pamela (Frank) McNeill of Saint John, Kimberley (Joseph) Bajzath of Montreal; one daughter-in-law, Betty Brown of Saint John; one brother-in-law George Cognet of England, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one son, Robert and one sister Molly Cognet. By Robert's request there will be no visiting or funeral service. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424).
