Obituary of Ronald L. Craft
The death of Mr. Ronald L. Craft, of 65 Mountain Road, Saint John, husband of the late Joan R. (Melville) Craft, occurred on Monday, February 10, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Harry and Ida Mae (Bullock) Craft. Mr. Craft was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas with the Merchant Navy and was a Longshoreman at Winterport for many years, before his retirement. He is survived by two sons, William R. (Mary Ellen) of Saint John and John D. (Dianne) of Maugerville, NB, one daughter, Barbara J. Lackie (James) of Wellington, NS, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Bloomfield Anglican Church Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a tribute to a Veteran service on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. www.brenansfh.com
