Obituary of Stephen Douglas Hosford
The death of Mr. Stephen Douglas Hosford, "one of the boys from the road" of Old Black River Road, Saint John, occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2003, at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Perry and Agnes (McCracken) Hosford. Stephen was a taxi driver for various companies in Saint John and enjoyed spending time fishing and bowling with his daughter Pammy. He is survived by his special friend, Shirley Cormier, one daughter, Pammy Hosford of Norton, three brothers, Joe (Bonnie), David (Irene), John (Shelley), two sisters, Anne Richards and Karen Hosford, all of Saint John, several aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 3:30 PM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the War Amps CHAMPS program, would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
