Obituary of Robert Alyre Arsenault

The death of Robert (Bob) A. Arsenault of Rothesay, NB, husband of Jeannette (Bourgeois) Arsenault, occurred January 23, 2004, at the age of 57 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, NB, Bob, son of the late Alyre L. Arsenault, worked more than 30 years for NB Power at the Courtenay Bay GS as an operator. He was a member of IBEW Local 37 and the KV Camera Club. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, tole painting, reading, music, playing guitar and bowling. Bob was a quiet family man and he will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife Jeannette, one son Marc Arsenault, Saint John, NB, one daughter Suzanne Downey (Jason), St Stephen, NB, his mother Anita (Saulnier) Arsenault, Moncton, NB, two grandsons, Andrew and Adam Downey, one sister Patricia Arsenault, Moncton, NB, and several aunts and cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 6-9 PM. Funeral will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 27, 2004, at 11:00 AM - interment to follow at a later date. Remembrances to the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
