Obituary of Marilyn Mabel McKenzie

The death of Marilyn Mabel McKenzie of Saint John, NB, occurred on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rose (McDonald) McKenzie. Marilyn was a loving mother to her son, Joseph R. "Joey" of Saint John, her two daughters, Sasha Rose McKenzie and Gina Ellen Hooley, both of Saint John. She is also survived by her brother, Allan of Saint John, her sister Trudy of Saint John, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Marilyn will be missed by her furry friends, Whiskers, Grey and Sid. She was extremely fond of animals. She was predeceased by her parents. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
