Obituary of Elaine Bridget Gallant

The death of Mrs. Elaine Bridget (Daly) Gallant, of Saint John, wife of Wayne Gallant, occurred on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Florence Mae (Flossie) (nee Foran) Daly. For several years, Elaine had been employed with The Evenings Times Globe and Telegraph Journal. Besides her loving husband, Wayne, she is survived by two brothers, John Daly and his wife Mertiece of Saint John, and Robert Daly and his wife Jackie of Fredericton, one sister, Diane Evans of Quispamsis, one grandson, Tristan Gallant of Saint John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her only son, Sean in 2001, her parents, John Patrick and Florence (Flossie) Daly, a sister, Mary Bustin, and a brother, Ronnie Daly. By Elaine's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service in the memory of both Elaine and Sean Gallant will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
