Obituary of Gerald H. Buckley
The death of Gerald H. Buckley of Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, East, NB occurred on Tuesday, August 12th, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Leo and Margaret (McNaught) Buckley. Gerald was a member of St. Joachim's Parish, and was formerly employed with St. Joseph's Hospital and Marycrest in Renforth. Gerald is survived by wife, Helen B. (Goguen) Buckley; daughter, Nancy Searle (Dwyane) of Saint John; four sons, Daniel L. 'Danny' of Saint John, David J. (Angella) of Toronto, William G. 'Billy' of Saint John and Steven (Geraldine) of Toronto; sister, Agnes O'Donnell (Ernest) of Saint John, East; two brothers, James and Clinton, both of Saint John, East; five grandchildren, Kenny Pearce, Kevin Pearce, Amanda Buckley, Danny Buckley and Christine Buckley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Audrey Mason; two brothers Robert and John. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 15, 2003, at 10:00 AM, from St. Joachim's Church, Loch Lomond Road. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
