Obituary of Marion Theresa Parker
Marion T. Parker (Rock) wife of the late Raymond M. Parker passed away on April 14, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Frank C. Golding and Delphine M. (Deveau) Golding. Marion was a member of Portland United Church in Saint John. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She is survived by one son Phillip Daryl Rock (Sandra), Rothesay, NB, one brother Robert (Bob) Golding (Beatrice), Saint John, NB, five grandchildren, Michael Rock, Halifax, NS, Daryl Rock and Kristine Rock, Ottawa, Ont., Carrie Anne Smith, Saint John, NB, and Cheryl Morrison, Rothesay, NB, one step daughter Sabra Dallon, Saint John, NB, ten step grandchildren and one great grandson Devon Smith, Saint John, NB. She is predeceased by one son Arnold James Rock, seven brothers, Francis, Joseph, Donald, Philip, Leonard, Roy and Douglas, four sisters, Nellie, Irene, Mildred and Margaret. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral will take place in Paradise Row Chapel at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 16, 2004. Remembrances in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
