Obituary of Janet Henderson MacGregor

The death of Janet Henderson MacGregor of 129 Courtney Avenue, East Saint John, occurred on Monday, March 10, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Saint John, on April 27, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Dixon) Corrigan. Mrs. MacGregor was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was formerly employed with National Packaging. She was a member of Portland United Church and a former member of I.O.D.E. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Linda Corrigan of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold, John, Tom, Frederick and Bill Corrigan and sisters, Bessie Higgins and Margaret Boyce. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 13, 2003, at 1:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
