Obituary of Isobel Alberta Thompson

The death of Isobel Alberta Thompson of Prince Edward St, occurred on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Alberta (Mawhinney) Thompson. Isobel was employed as a supervisor with SMT and a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Westfield Golf and Country Club, Community Concerts, Saint John Symphony, Charter and Life Member of the I.O.D.E Dr. Roberts. She is survived by two sisters Muriel Thompson of Saint John and Dr. Louise (William) Welch of Washington, USA. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one sister Elsie Sheldrick and one brother John Thompson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, November 14, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2003 from St. Luke's Anglican Church at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
