Obituary of Bruce Stephen Walton

The death of Mr. Bruce Stephen Walton of 78 Sewell Street, Saint John, NB, occurred on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on September 30, 1949, he was the son of the late Douglas and Clara Walton. He was formerly employed with Strescon and the Bottle Exchange. He was an avid "Bingo" player at the CC Club of Metcalf Street. He is survived by his companion, Freda Jesso, and her children, Michael, Rickey, Grace, Cathy, and Wesley Scopie, his ex-wife, Marilyn Walton of Alberta, one son, Bruce John Walton of Alberta, two daughters, Tammy of Alberta and Kim of British Columbia, two step-sons, Bruce Lee Scopie and Richard Scopie both of Saint John, brothers, Vernon, Neily, and Gary of Saint John, Pat of Alberta, and Victor of Norton, three sisters, Ruth and Cindy of Saint John, and Marlene of Quispamsis, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother David, and sister, Elaine. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
