Obituary of Robert LeRoy Keating
The death of Robert LeRoy Keating, of 221 Ellerdale Street, Saint John, occurred on Friday, May 9, 2003, at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of Edna G. (Byers) Keating of Saint John and the late Frank L. Keating. Mr. Keating was employed at Simms Brush Factory for many years, before his retirement. Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Susan Ferguson of Saint John, four brothers, Andrew (Marguerite), John (Thelma), Allan (Jean) and Ronald (Janice), all of Saint John, four sisters, Doris Green (Clarence), Gloria Collings (James), both of Grand Bay-Westfield, Bernice Conley (Ronald) of Saint John and Lorraine Taylor (William) of Acamac, three grandchildren, John, Thomas and Shaleen, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Cecile “Cis” Cyr of Saint John. He was predeceased by one brother, Donald. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery Remembrances to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
