Obituary of Harold Wilfred McQuade
The death of Harold McQuade of Sandy Point Road, Saint John, NB, husband of the late Rhona Mary (Arseneault) McQuade occurred on Monday, January 12th, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Medford, NB, he was the son of the late Dennis and Josephine (McQuade) McQuade. Harold was employed with St. Patrick's Orphanage for seventeen years, Likely's Pipe Plant for eighteen years, was involved in farming and was a member of St. Pius X Parish. He is survived by two sons, Paul McQuade (Maryolive) of Saint John, NB and Andrew McQuade (Susan) of Quispamsis, NB; one brother, Bernard McQuade (Yvonne) of Grandbay-Westfield, NB; three grandchildren, Donnie, Linda and Katelyn McQuade; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Syretha Kilfoil and brothers, Floyd, Andrew, Melton, Dennis and Arthur McQuade. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 15th, 2004 from St. Pius X Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
