Obituary of Muriel May King
The death of Muriel May King, wife of the late Stanley M. King, of St. Martins, occurred on December 25, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at St. Martins she was the daughter of the late Elmore and Alberta (Davidson) MacDonald. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, St. Martins. She is survived by her son Harley and his wife Carolyn of Saint John, her daughters Marjorie and her husband Karl Walford of London, ON, Shirley and her husband Ward Gillchrist of St. Martins, her brother Roy MacDonald and his wife Joyce of St. Martins, her sisters Lillian Smith of Saint John, Mildred Langille of St Martins, Alma and her husband Lawrence Gillchrist of St. Martins, Inez King of St. Martins, her eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her son Clarence King, brothers Clifford and Eldon MacDonald, sisters Alice Brown, Gladys Burchill, and Mabel Washburn and her grandson Clarence Gillchrist and great-granddaughter Rebecca Faith Loughery predeceased her. Although there will not be any visiting, following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2003, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
