Obituary of Ruth Edna Middleton
The death of Ruth Edna Middleton of 29 Horsfield Street, Saint John, occurred on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Greenville, Yarmouth County, N.S., she had been a resident of Saint John for many years and was a Baptist by faith. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 69, Royal Canadian Legion, Buffalo Club, and enjoyed playing darts with her many friends. Survived by her son, Peter, of Saint John and daughters Barbara Turner, Roseann Patterson, and Ruby Fenton, all of Halifax, two sisters, several grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, September 19, 2003, with service at 2:15 p.m. Interment to take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
