Obituary of Frances Lillian Godin
The death of Frances (Vaughan) Godin, wife of the late Henry Godin of Rothesay, NB occurred on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Bryson) Vaughan. Frances had been employed at CHSJ Radio Station, Atlantic Wholesalers Ltd. and for many years at APM Ltd. until her retirement. She is survived by two daughters Pamela (Jim) Connolly, Deborah (John) Mihichuk both of Rothesay, one brother John (Theresa) Vaughan Jr. of Rothesay, one sister Madeline “Midge” Jennings of Saint John, four grandchildren Jillian & Jocelyn Mihichuk, Greg (Katherine) & Don Connolly, two great-grandchildren Tylor & Julia Connolly, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one brother Bobby Vaughan and one sister Mildred Keir. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, January 12, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 12 Noon. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Building Fund of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
