Obituary of Florence M. Tower
The death of Florence M. (Trainor) Tower of 134 University Avenue, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Ralph Chester Tower occurred on Saturday, December 6, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a period of failing health. Born in Charlottetown, PEI., she was the daughter of the late Louis M. and Margaret (McKenzie) Trainor, and was a resident of this city most of her life. Florence served as head of the laundry department in St. Joseph's Hospital for many years before her retirement. She was a former member of St John The Baptist Parish and of the CWL. She is survived by several nephews and nieces, she was predeceased by brothers Louis and Albert Trainor and sisters Bertha Ames and Winnifred Jamieson. Visiting will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row ,Saint John (634-7424) on Monday, 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in Brenan's Chapel at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Interment to take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
