Obituary of Mae Florence Allen

Miss Mae Florence Allen of Turnbull Home, formerly of Brunswick Drive, Saint John, NB passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 06, 2003 in her 79th. year. Born in Saint John, Miss Allen was the daughter of the late Clifford M. and Jennie B. (Northrup) Allen. She retired from Central Supply in 1986 after working for a number of years at the Saint John General Hospital and later the Saint John Regional Hospital. Mae was an active member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir. She was also a member of the Senior Citizen Club of Brunswick Drive. Besides her parents, Mae is also predeceased by a brother Murray of Ontario. She is survived by one brother Kenneth of Ontario and many cousins including her special cousin George and his wife Bernadette Northrup of Saint John, NB. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visitation on Thursday only from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Brenan's chapel on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Canadian Arthritis Society.
