Obituary of Richard Douglas Wilson
The death of Mr. Richard Douglas Wilson, of Brunswick Drive, Saint John, husband of Barbara A. (Martin) Wilson, occurred on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Emma B. (Wilkins) Wilson. Richard was a member of CPR Truckers, Main Street Baptist Church, and the Buffalo Club. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #14. Besides his wife, Barb, he is survived by one son Rickey (Jennifer) of Saint John, two daughters, Sharon Wilson (Delbert) and Patsy Wilson (Ellis), both of Saint John, three brothers, Max (Noeline) of Saint John, Wally (Debbie) of Hampton, and Gregory (Gina) of Saint John, three sisters, Sheila Sabean (Lindsay) of Hampton, Marilyn Goodine of Perth Andover, NB, and Doreen Wilkins (Harold) of Saint John, eleven grandchildren, Nichlos, Geordie, April, Sarah, Gregory, Amber, Ashley, Michelle, Ivorey, Kalee, and Melissa, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Audrey. Richard will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
