Obituary of Jean Marguerite O'Brien
The death of Mrs. Jean Marguerite (Clark) O'Brien, of Quispamsis, NB, wife of David O'Brien, occurred on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 18, 1949, in Woodstock, NB, she is the daughter of Alta (Furlong) Clark and the late Russell Clark. Jean was presently employed with the Exhibition Park Association as an Office Manager. She enjoyed various crafts and was an animal lover. Jean loved to laugh, and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, David, her mother, Alta, her children, Gary Nolan (Rachel), Kim Fudge (Rob), Mike O'Brien (Bonnie), John O'Brien (Barb), Anna Blackwell (Wayne), Debbie O'Brien, and Helen Gillis (Sean), all of Saint John, NB, a brother, Darrell Clark (Lois) of Douglas, NB, a sister, Linda Perry (Peter) of Saint John, 13 grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Hillary, Angielee, Brittany, Eric, Daniel, Brian, Brandon, Calvie, Courtney, Morgan, and Cody, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Russell Clark. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 9:00 AM from St. Joachim's Church. Interment will take place following cremation at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
