Obituary of Kathleen Jane Wood
The death of Mrs. Kathleen Jane (Graves) Wood, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late John A. Wood, occurred on Thursday, April 3, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Estella (Patterson) Graves. She was a member of Germain Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Saint John Chapter, No. 14 Branch and was a past-member of the Dr. William F. Roberts Chapter of the I.O.D.E. Kathleen leaves to mourn, one son, John (Jack) (Dot) S. Logan of Bridgewater, NS and Arizona, one daughter, Bette Lois King (John) of Fredericton, NB, one step-daughter, Sylvia A. Peacock of Saint John, one step-son, John (Marilyn) Wood of BC, one sister, Mrs. Pauline Allen of St. Stephen, NB, one sister-in-law Jean Graves of Jemseg, NB, 14 grandchildren, as well as several great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, John S. Logan, her brothers, Earl, George, and Frank Lloyd, a sister, Dorothy (McAlpine) Armstrong, and one grandson, Terry Bruce Craft. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
