Obituary of Eleanor Frances Flood

The death of Eleanor Frances (Owens) Flood of Kennebecasis Park, Rothesay, wife of the late George F. Flood, occurred on Saturday, August 2, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Florence (Halpin) Owens. She is survived by one son, John O. Flood (Delberta) of Fredericton, one daughter, Rebecca Koval (Derek) of St. Albert, AB, one brother, James F. Owens (Joan) of Saint John, three sisters, Catherine Boyle of Saint John, M. Patricia Coughlan of Edmonton, AB and Elizabeth J. Owens of Fredericton, grand-daughters, Suzanne Koval Brinton (Donald) of Calgary, AB, Krista Koval of Halifax, NS, Elizabeth Flood and Ellen Flood, both of Fredericton, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, William J., Edward T. and George P. Owens. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church, on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 11:30 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. No flowers by request, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
