Obituary of Milton James Kelly
The death of Milton James (Milt) Kelly, husband of the late Mary Frances (Whalen) Kelly and the late Marjorie (Burton) Kelly, of Grand Bay-Westfield, occurred on March 28, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Petersville, NB, he was the son of the late James and Florence (Burns) Kelly. He served overseas during WW II with the Canadian Army. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 2. He retired in 1982 from Saint John Ship Building Ltd. He was an avid hunter. He is survived by his sons Jack, Francis, Kenny, Danny, Richard, Terry, Mark and Joe Franks, His daughters Elaine, Linda, Elizabeth and Brenda, his brother Art Kelly, his sister Bertha Wilson, his 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister Evelyn Cannon. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
