Obituary of William Henry Hall
The death of William H. Hall, husband of Elta Rogers Lutes Hall, occurred on March 16, 2004, at his residence, the Spencer Memorial Home. Born at Leeds Village, PQ, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Mabel (Cameron) Hall. He was employed with CPR during his career and operated the convenience stores at Summerville and Chamcook, NB. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge #13 Hampton and was involved with the Kingston Peninsula Senior Citizens. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Douglas W. and his wife Karen of Gondola Point, his daughters Marilyn and her husband David Britton of Riverview, Elaine and her husband James Brown of Lower Sackville, NS, Elva and her husband Tom Curtis of Truro, NS, Judith and her husband John Rae of Sambro, NS, his step-daughters Shelia Webb of Salisbury, Caroline and her husband Albert Jones of Riverglade, Bonita and her husband James Bishop of Fairvale, Brenda and her husband Lee O'Blenis of Moncton, his brother Norman and his wife Edna of Quispamsis, his sisters Ethel Hatfield of Reeds Point, Alice Beaver of Saint John, Evelyn Burhoe of Fairvale, Grace Bostwick of Gorham's Bluff, Josephine Cairney of Durham, ON, his 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His first wife Bertha (Nesbit) Hall and his sister Hazel Lindsay, Vira Buckley and Doris Waddell predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at the Summerville United Church Cemetery. Remembrances made to Kennebecasis United Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
