Obituary of Marjorie L. Cook
The death of Marjorie Cook occurred on Friday, February 6th, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the wife of the late Paul Cook and the daughter of the late Guy Frederick and Julia A. (Belyea) Fox. Marjorie graduated from Saint John Vocational School and later worked for Dunn and Bradstreet. Marjorie is survived by two children, Karen and Blake; four grandchildren, Doug, Dillon, Lindsay and Justin; two sisters, Suzanne Cronk (Robert) of Dartmouth, NS and Sandra Bishop (Donald) of Darlings Island, NB; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Barbara McRitchie. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
